  • TEACHER - EARLY HEAD START

    EICAP is currently recruiting teachers for our Early Head Start program.  We will be hiring both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time teachers (25 hours per week) to fill these positions.  Full-time positions will include benefits.   

    Requires: High school diploma or Equivalency Degree (GED) and CDA in Infant and Toddler preferred. (If you accept employment with EICAP Head Start and do not have a CDA, you will be required to begin the process of obtaining your CDA immediately. You will be given 12 months from the date of hire to complete you CDA.  AA in Early Childhood Education, desired Recent experience with children aged birth to three preferred.

  • FAMILY ADVOCATE - EARLY HEAD START

    EICAP is recruiting Family Advocates for our Early Head Start program.  This position will be full-time and will include benefits.

    Education and Experience:  High school diploma or equivalency degree GED.  

    • Knowledge in Social Services or related work.
    • Prefer minimum of two years experience in family social services setting such as crisis intervention, and providing training in self-help skills.
    • Prior home visiting experience preferred.
    • Working knowledge of basic teaching methods, medical disciplines and local community resources required.
    • Must have TB screen and physical examination with in 30 days of date of hire.

    EICAP is recruiting a Teacher for our Driggs Head Start program.  This position requires an AA or BA in Early Childhood Education and two years experience in a pre-school classroom setting.  Bilingual is preferred.  Position is full-time, seasonal.

  • Accounting Specialist Head Start

    Under the direction of the Finance Director, the Head Start Accounting Specialist is responsible for carrying out the financial compliance functions of the Head Start and Early Head Start Programs.  These functions include budget and budget amendment preparation, generating monthly budget and financial reports, preparing and submitting periodic reports to the federal payment management system and other electronic reporting systems, management of cost accounts, coding and/or verifying coding for payment of invoices, reconciling non-federal share revenues, and preparing and submitting reimbursement requests from funding sources.  The Head Start Accounting Specialist will work closely with the Head Start Birth to Five Director, Operations Manager, and Center Managers in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the Head Start and Early Head Start Programs.

    Under the supervision of the Human Resource Director, the Human Resources Assistant will perform a variety of clerical duties as needed to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource department.  Will also serve as an administrative support for the Executive Director and other agency leadership.

  • HEALTH SERVICES SPECIALIST - EHS

    Health and Nutrition Services Specialist for our Head Start programs

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • A bachelor’s degree required –
      • in a Health or Health related field preferred
    • 2 years of working experience in health field preferred
    • Managerial experience preferred
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Working knowledge of community resources and health care providers in the Head Start communities
