• U.V. Food Bank Needs Donations - April 17, 2013
  Shelves are getting low at the Upper Valley Food Bank, and the Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership believes people will respond to help once they hear about the need.

  Lower-income families can receive help to weatherize their houses.
• Local Generosity - March 9, 2013
  Many times we hear and read about the generosity of the Idaho Falls community. I would like to give you one more example.
• Idaho Poverty Rate Rises for Third Straight Year - October 17, 2012
  Since 2008, median household income for Idahoans has dropped 8.9 percent. Only Nevada and Georgia recorded larger three-year declines, according to the census bureau.
• Blackfoot Quilter Makes A Difference with Her Handiwork - September 24, 2012
  Haven Director Ann Johnson said the guild has delivered nearly 100 quilts over the years. Those quilts go a long way for the women as they try to turn their lives around.
• EICAP Awarded Silver LEED Certification - July 27, 2012
  EICAP is pleased to announce that the United States Green Building Council has awarded a Silver LEED Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) to its new building at 935 Lincoln Road in Idaho Falls. The building remodel was designed by CRSA, a local architectural firm, with a Silver LEED Certification as a goal. As far as is known, this Certification makes the EICAP Building the first LEED Certified remodel in Idaho Falls.

  October is National Long-Term Care Residents’ Rights Month, a time to acknowledge the contributions and sacrifices many long-term care (LTC) residents have made to better our community and to call attention to the rights of residents in long-term care facilities.
• AmeriCorps and Mutual Self Help Housing Team Up! - April 21, 2011
  EICAP is extremely lucky to have AmeriCorps chose our Mutual Self Help Housing Program as one of their 2011 projects.
• Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership is Accepting Bids - October 21, 2009
  Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership (EICAP) is taking bids for the remodel of property at 935 Lincoln Road in Idaho Falls. Plans are available at that location until bid opening on November 5, 2009. Interested General Contractors and sub-contractors are encouraged to bid.
• New Mission Statement - October 20, 2009
  The Board of Directors approved a new Mission Statement.
• Congratulations Helen Stanton - September 3, 2009
  At the 2009 National Community Action Partnership Awards Gala, EICAP's Helen Stanton, received with the Jayne Thomas Grassroots Volunteer Recognition Award.
