Preparing For Winter

While most of us begin to think about preparing for winter when the weather gets colder, the weatherization program of Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership thinks about winter year-round. Our program provides assistance to eligible low-income households, particularly elderly and disabled individuals, in the areas of energy conservation and health- and safety-related repairs.

The staff at EICAP appreciates the community's continued support of our organization and its programs.

Weatherization could use the community's assistance in replacing some of our older, worn-out equipment and tools. If you would like to make a donation, we have registered at The Home Depot. To find our gift list, go to www.homedepot.com and click on the "Gifts" link, then the "Find a Registry" link. The weatherization program is listed under the special occasion category "Other" with a first name of "Weatherization" and a last name "EICAP."

Items may be purchased over the Internet and shipped directly to the weatherization program's building or you may purchase items in the store and bring them to our main office at 357 Constitution Way in Idaho Falls. The listed items are suggestions as other models available at Home Depot or other stores will be suitable for our needs.

If you have any questions, please contact us by phone at 523-5466 or e-mail at wx@eicap.org. More information about the EICAP weatherization program is available online at www.eicap.org/wx.
