RSVP is a FUN place to volunteer.  So what are you waiting for??

RSVP is the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program and it has been helping Eastern Idahoans provide their volunteer services since 1974. Each year, hundreds of RSVP volunteers contribute tens of thousands of hours of their selfless service to more than 130 non-profit organizations and agencies in nine Eastern Idaho counties.

If you're 55 years or older and interested in volunteering, the RSVP Staff wants to understand your interests, skills, life experiences and visions for your personal volunteer service anywhere in our nine county service area. RSVP Staff will help you learn about all of the diverse volunteer opportunities available.

To sign up, click REGISTER ONLINE.

Are you already a volunteer and want to tell us your hours and miles? Click LOG RSVP HOURS ONLINE.

RSVP volunteers receive supplemental insurance coverage and can qualify for partial mileage reimbursement of up to $21 per month.

For more information about RSVP, email rsvp@eicap.org or call us at (208) 522-5370 Ext. 1036.

The RSVP Advisory Council provides perspectives and insights to help your RSVP better serve you and your communities. We are always looking for new Advisory Council members. The group meets monthly at the EICAP Building, 935 E. Lincoln Road.

RSVP volunteers serve both indoors and in a variety of outdoors activities. Some volunteers take responsibility to organize programs and projects while other work in public settings such as food banks, senior centers, museums, etc. RSVP volunteers serve as little as an hour a week or as much time as they care to contribute.

The Eastern Idaho RSVP uses the Volunteer Match website to showcase unique and specialized volunteer opportunities.  Volunteer Match has a nationwide reach that allows RSVP to recruit and utilize Virtual Volunteers throughout America to assist RSVP's Eastern Idaho partners.  Click the logo at right to visit the website.

RSVP is a part of The Senior Corps and is funded by the federal Corporation for National and Community Service and United Way.
