Health and Nutrition Services Advisor (HSA)

EICAP’s Head Start department is currently accepting applications for Health & Nutrition Services Advisor. This position is full-time with excellent benefits and pay is $18-$20/hr, depending on experience.

Our Health & Nutrition Services Advisor coordinates health and nutrition services in the Early Childhood Programs HS/EHS for Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership; a Community Action Agency providing services to children and families with low income.

This full-time position oversees health services for pre-school children per Head Start Performance Standards. Will access database reports, track child and family information and other record keeping activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting of children’s health information. HSA will provide a full range of health education activities to children, families, and staff members. HSA will provide various trainings to staff members, parents and board members. Incumbent is responsible to prepare materials for staff training and monitoring all program health and nutrition requirements.

Contracts Manager and Outreach Specialist

EICAP’s Senior Services department is currently accepting applications for a Contracts Manager and Outreach Specialist. This position is full-time with excellent benefits, and pay starts at $16-$18/hr. depending on experience.

Under the direction of the Senior Services Director, the Contracts Manager assists with the administration of the Area Plan and budget. This includes oversight of contracted services, processing billing and payment to contracted services providers, assisting with Area VI Advisory Council on Aging Meetings, and coordinating Senior Center Site Manager meetings.

In addition, the Contracts Manager is responsible for completing required program monitors for contracted providers and for ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations as outlined in the Older American’s Act and by the Idaho Commission on Aging.

The Outreach specialist will be under the direction of the Senior Services Director and will be responsible for coordinating the Senior Medicare Patrol volunteer program. In addition, this person will perform outreach under the guidelines of the Medicare Improvements for Patient and Provider Act scope of work as well as general outreach for the Area VI Agency on Aging.
