Position Title: FAMILY SERVICES PROGRAM SUPPORT – REXBURG
Department: Family & Emergency Services
Supervisor: Family & Emergency Services Director
Position Status: Non-Exempt, Regular, Full-Time
Salary Range: $13.00 – $15.00/Hour DOE

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Family & Emergency Services Director and the Emergency Services Coordinator, the Family Services Program Support assists with implementing Family & Emergency Services assistance programs. This position will be assigned to the Rexburg office with assignments to the Idaho Falls office on occasion. This position involves serving and supporting participants, processing applications, verifying information, and data entry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist with the delivery of services from various grants and funding sources, including but not limited to, LIHEAP, LIHEAP Crisis, LIHWAP, local utility funds, CSBG, outreach office food pantry programs, ERAP, and AMW Tuition Assistance.
2. Assist with the participant application process, including but not limited to, interviewing participants, collecting, and verifying documentation required for programs, and determining assistance needed.
3. Maintain proper documentation and records in a timely manner in accordance with all federal/ state regulations and program requirements.
4. Ensure all data is recorded and entered in corresponding database, as required.
5. Assist with program reporting and data entry. Accuracy is essential for these duties.
6. Exhibit a professional attitude toward others, including participants, co-workers, community members, visitors, and volunteers.
7. Answer telephone calls and greet the public in a professional manner, routing calls and referring participants to appropriate services.
8. May be asked to participate in local outreach events to promote awareness of Family & Emergency Services programs.
9. May be required to travel to outreach locations, as well as visits to homebound participants, as needed, to assist with local programs.
10. May be assigned to work outside of normal business hours.
11. Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
