EICAP operates food pantries in Rexburg, Salmon, and Challis. We partner with the Idaho Food Bank for USDA commodities and receive local community donations from individuals and community food drives. Participants may access food pantry services once a month.

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)- is a federally funded program that helps supplement the diets of Idaho residents with commodities provided by the US Department of Agriculture.

Requirements include:
– Income Eligibility
– Idaho Residency
– Signed TEFAP application

EICAP’s general food assistance provides food for Eastern Idahoans from other sources, including the Community Services Block Grant and community donations.

Requirements include:
– Completed and signed application
– Photo identification for the applicant
– Social Security numbers for household members
– Income verification for all household members
