2023

  • Senior Services adds a Self-Directed Respite Program

2022

  • Temporarily runs Rental Assistance Program provided by Idaho Housing and Finance Association “IHFA”
  • EICAP transfers Haven & Community Center to Idaho Falls Rescue Mission

2020

  • Transitioned Property Management of Affordable Housing Portfolio to Syringa Property Management
  • Three Headstart centers expanded duration into the summer months to provide additional learning opportunities to children entering Kindergarten after COVID stay-at-home orders were lifted.

2019

  • Expanded Duration of two Headstart classrooms (Driggs & West)

2017

  • Blackfoot and Salmon Head Start Centers expand duration to 6 hours a day, 4 days a week, year round

2015

  • Awarded and began the Early Head Start Program in Bonneville and Bingham Counties.
  • Awarded the Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce’s “Non-Profit Business of Distinction”.

2014

  • Weatherization added Fall River Electric & Idaho Power Utility Grants

2013

  • Acquired 1st Street Apartments

2012

  • EICAP earned and was presented the National Community Action Partnership’s “Award for Excellence in Community Action”.
  • Weatherization is awarded the Affordable Housing Program Grant “AHP” grant
  • Started Senior Medicare Patrol program

2011

  • Central office, the Weatherization Department and the West Head Start Center were all moved into one central location at the newly remodeled facility located at Lincoln Road.

2010

  • Constructed and opened Lakeview Family Housing and Acquired Market Lake Properties in Roberts
  • Haven Community Center opened thanks to a generous donation from J. Robb & Rose Brady

  • 40 Years of Building Stronger Communities
  • $6.7 Million in Support and Revenues

  • Access to Recovery (ATR) becomes part of the Haven Shelter’s suite of services.

  • 100th Mutual Self-Help Housing Home built

  • EISSA becomes Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership

  • Volunteer Ombudsman Program
  • Opened Rexburg Head Start Center

  • Acquired Camas Street Apartments in Blackfoot.

  • Started Mobile Home Safety Program
  • Head Start expanded to Lemhi and Madison Counties

  • Completed first group of Mutual Self-Help Housing homes in Rigby, Idaho.
  • Started VISTA Volunteers Program

  • E.I.S.S.A. is designated the Head Start grantee to serve Bingham, Bonneville and Teton Counties.
